The Shatterer of Worlds is a Lovecraftian-like extra-dimensional entity from the fictional universe of Marvel by Marvel Comics.

Background[]

The Shatterer of Worlds was a nigh-omnipotent eldritch entity from another reality whom was summoned to Earth by the Cult of Wrarrl during the Hyborian Age, to use it's power to resurrect their master, the demon Wrarrl (aka, the Devourer of Souls) who had been slain by the Cimmerian barbarian Conan. Not realizing that it's presence in their universe would tear the very fabric of reality and that within minutes of it being in their world the universe would cease to exist.

Realising what the foolish cultists had done, the resurrected Wrarrl was forced to end his fight with Conan. To prevent the destruction of the netherworld (the world of his demonic race), which was a parallel world to Earth, Wrarrl consumed the souls of the cultists. Using them to boost his eldritch powers, Wrarrl sacrificed himself to obliterate the entity.
