The Swine People are a fictional race expanded upon by Chaosium in 1995 for the Call of Cthulhu roleplaying game which were based on William Hope Hodgson's The House on the Borderland.

Background[]

The Swine People are degenerate race of porcine humanoids, whom dwell underground. Whom have pig-like ears and snouts, hoofed hind legs, clawed hands, and very pale skin color. Their mouths and jaws in turn are those of a human. Some of them, likely the older males, have large curved tusks. Swine people are able to both walk upright and go on all fours. Usually they hunt in packs and are brutal fighters that will fight to the death. The species is attracted to space and time irregularities, being able to sense them.
