Well, mosly I kept the coloring of the prefix and linking to the canon page from the previous admin team but I'm open to discuss it.RingoRoadagain (talk) 23:35, June 28, 2018 (UTC)

I think the colour coding is really effective in most cases I was just wondering if on this page the combination of normal white text, khaki links and multicoloured tags was too much. Looking again It's not as jarring as I'd thought and does make it easier to tell the sections apart. On the subject of canon tags though would you agree that it's fair to include several extra friends and correspondents into Lovecraft's circle when applying the tag (User blog:Tiberius II/Sandbox)?

HUm, yes I think we can accept all his known correspondants and friends who became Mythos writer (Derleth being a special case) since it would be very subjective to otherwise make a precise list of them. I tried to put them all on the category definition but I would not be surprised if there were more of them.
e.g A. Merritt might count: he wrote stories that influenced lovecraft (so ADJ) but since I have not read his work yet I am unsure if his later works were part of the Mythos which would make him a special case.RingoRoadagain (talk) 22:53, June 29, 2018 (UTC)

Gobogeg in the "The Lovecraft Circle Mythos" section? Edit

Gobogeg was made up for the Kickstarter game Cthulhu Wars, right? Shouldn't it fall under Expanded and Adjacent Mythos? I know that the game maker says it's supposed to be the creature from the end of "At the Mountains of Madness", but they're just slapping a name onto a nameless creation of Lovecraft himself. Gobogeg's page doesn't even make any mention of the events of AtMoM, it makes the designation seem somewhat misleading. Neither Lovecraft or one of his contemporaries created this one.MrMostlyMediocre (talk) 15:21, July 5, 2018 (UTC)

Well I'll add this info to his page at once, thank for the info. It's not the first time we use a name slapped by RPGs on an HPL creature (like the green flame Tulzscha, the Gloon statuette from "The Temple" and probably some others). I know there is debate, and it should get reflected well in their articles. IMO we just put the most famous name of a creature which originates from Lovecraft but it still first gets mentioned/appears from Lovecraft.RingoRoadagain (talk) 22:10, July 5, 2018 (UTC)
