:::I'm not sure it is what you were thinking about but there in Malleus Monstrorum, an RPG source book by chaosium, when they are describing the "Lesser Elder Gods" they mention Carter's "Zoth-Ommog". They also mention "Lesser Other Gods" to describe the fulte piper near Azathoth, citing Lovecraft's Dream-Quest to Kaddath. No mention of "Lesser Old Ones" though.[[User:RingoRoadagain|RingoRoadagain]] ([[User talk:RingoRoadagain|talk]]) 18:15, June 2, 2020 (UTC)

Old Ones from Robert E. Howard's Queen of the Black Coast

If someone has a serious reference, I'd be interested for a confirmation that the old ones mentioned in Robert E. Howard's Queen of the Black Coast are the winged ones later confronted in the course of the issue, and not the Great Old Ones.

The only sites, I don't consider them serious enough:

The story doesn't give sufficient information. No way to tell if the Old Ones that are spoken of in the "Queen of the Black Coast" are the Old Ones of the Cthulhu Mythos (or their equivalent in the Conan mythos) or they are the degenerated race of winged ones.Esparza3368 (talk) 06:52, April 1, 2020 (UTC)

Lesser Old Ones

Another question, do anyone knows what/where/who is the origin of the term "Lesser Old Ones"? I suspect Lin Carter (or possibly Derleth) but I can't find anything on that so far. Undoniel (talk) 11:41, April 9, 2020 (UTC)

It originated when the first novel by Lovecraft came out. Malcolm Daoson, Giant Catbass (talk) 03:04, May 19, 2020 (UTC)

I'm not sure it is what you were thinking about but there in Malleus Monstrorum, an RPG source book by chaosium, when they are describing the "Lesser Elder Gods" they mention Carter's "Zoth-Ommog".
