This subject contains information from the Expanded Cthulhu Mythos, and not based on H.P. Lovecraft's works directly. Th'rygh, also known as The God-Beast, is a minor Great Old One created by Irish games designer Gareth Ryder-Hanrahan, which made its first appearance in his 2002 scenario supplement Verboten! Operation: FAUST for the Call of Cthulhu roleplaying game.

Description[]

Little is known about Th'rygh, other than that it is a monstrous entity which manifests as a horrible patchwork of flesh, soil, and alien matter, and that it is capable of absorbing organic matter - including living creatures - with the slightest brush of its transparent tentacles.

History[]

During the spring of 1945, elements of the SS enacting Operation: WEREWOLF under the direct orders of Adolf Hitler attempted to summon Th'rygh using a passage from the Necronomicon. Their goal: to destroy the Red Army which was inexorably driving towards Berlin. When the Allies got wind of this plot, agents of the American Office of Naval Intelligence department Delta Green were parachuted in to thwart their scheme.
