The Arkham Sampler was a short-lived American magazine published quarterly by Arkham House which ran for eight issues between 1948 and 1949. Focusing on the fantasy and horror genres, The Arkham Sampler included a mix of fiction, non-fiction, and poetry, and contained pieces by Lovecraft and his contemporaries, as well as more recent writers. All issues were edited by August Derleth.
Contributors included H. P. Lovecraft, August Derleth, Clark Ashton Smith, Robert Bloch, Fritz Leiber, George T. Wetzel, Rheinhart Kleiner, C. M. Eddy, Jr., Samuel Loveman, Ray Bradbury, Frank Belknap Long, E. Hoffman Price, John Wyndham, Jules Verne, A. E. van Vogt, and many others.
