This subject is written on a topic in the real world and reflects factual information. 🐙 The Ceremonies is a Lovecraftian horror novel by T. E. D. Klein, published by the Viking Press in 1984. Klein's only published novel, it is an expansion of his 1972 short story, "The Events at Poroth Farm."

The book is in part an homage to "The White People" by Arthur Machen, quotes from whom appear as epigraphs before several chapters.

The Ceremonies won the 1986 British Fantasy Award for best novel.[1] Stephen King has called the novel "the Moby-Dick of '80s horror," "the best of the best" of the genre from that decade.[2]
