"The Dreams in the Witch House" is an episode of the Netflix television series Guillermo del Toro's Cabinet of Curiosities. Although billed as an adaptation of the H. P. Lovecraft short story of the same name, it has been so heavily altered as to be virtually unrecognisable.
Synopsis[]
Walter Gilman, a man whose twin sister was dragged off by an unknown force as a child, searches for a way to contact her spirit. Discovering an elixir which allows him to travel to the strange realm in which she is trapped, he is subsequently tormented by the evil witch Keziah Mason and her minion Jenkins Brown. Although he manages to bring his sister back and destroy Mason, he is in turn killed by Brown, who then uses his body as a puppet.
