Overview[]

Consisting of a series of six scenarios thematically linked by the inclusion of Great Old Ones, the book's included adventures can either be played as stand-alone missions, or in sequence to form a loose campaign. The Great Old Ones was written by Marcus L. Rowland, Kevin Ross, Harry Cleaver, Doug Lyons, and L. N. Isinwyll, with cover art provided by Tom Sullivan. It includes a selection of player handouts and runs to 176 pages.

The Great Old Ones was nominated for, and won, the Origins Award for Best Roleplaying Adventure of 1989.

First published in 1989 The Great Old Ones was reissued as a digital PDF in 2004, but is currently out of print.
