"The House in the Woods" is a short Mythos story by American author Ran Cartwright writing as R. S. Cartwright.
Synopsis
A reporter is on the run from a horror which he cannot remember. Picking up a young female hitchhiker on the road, he unwittingly travels back to the location of his prior trauma. As his memory begins to return, he realises that he has been tricked by an otherworldly entity, before his mind once again descends into darkness.
