Xuthal of the Dusk is a story written by Robert E. Howard first published in Weird Tales (September, 1933) as "The Slithering Shadow".
It was adapted by Marvel Comics in Savage Sword of Conan #20 (July, 1977), written by Roy Thomas, penciled by John Buscema, and inked by Alfredo Alcala.
Synopsis
Conan and his companion end up in Xuthal a drug addicted city and encounter Thog, a man-eating monster roaming the city.
