This subject is written on a topic in the real world and reflects factual information. This subject contains information from the Expanded Cthulhu Mythos, and not based on H.P. Lovecraft's works directly. The White Tree: A Tale of Inspector Legrasse is a Dark Adventure Radio Theatre production by the H. P. Lovecraft Historical Society. Unlike many of the DART productions, it is an original story, rather than an adaptation.

Overview[]

In Dark Adventure Radio Theatre's first wholly original episode, Inspector Legrasse stumbles onto a case which may be connected to the Cthulhu cult he and his men broke up nearly twenty years before. Once again he leads an investigation which takes him into the foreboding bayous of Louisiana. Will he again be pitted against deranged cultists and the abominations they worship, or has he found something even more evil and insidious?

As with all of the DART series, The White Tree is an audio production presented in the style of a 1930s radio drama. It runs to a total of 72 minutes and features a set of period-authentic props, including a New Orleans Police Department arrest report, a newspaper report on the police action against the cult, a page from a mystical tome, and a voodoo artefact.
