Professor Warren Rice is the Professor of Classical Languages at Miskatonic University. He first appeared in "The Dunwich Horror" and also appears in Arkham Horror: The Card Game.

- Warren Rice's distant nephew Raymond is the main character in the short story "Black Tallow" by Edward M. Erdelac.
- In the animated film Howard Lovecraft and the Kingdom of Madness, he is introduced by Armitage as Warren Rice, but the end credits give his name as "Hamish Rice" instead.
