Background[]

The Wolf Men were the spawn of the Wolf Lords (which were created by Chthon), whom held the Earth in terror, millions of years ago. Among the Wolf Lords were Garmr a mountain-sized beast who sired Garm a 40ft tall hellhound that would go on to guard the gates of Hel, the Asgardian realm of the dead. The greatest of the Wolf Lords was Varcolac the Wolf Demon. With his speed, no prey could escape this relentless, merciless hunter. Both the Midgard Serpent and Fenris Wolf descend from him.

The Wolf Men were shapeshifters who could take the shape of various humans. They had superhuman strength and speed, and were invulnerable to ordinary physical injuries and blows from Thurian age weaponry (e.g. swords). At least one of them had additional magical powers (e.g. optical bolts of fire), being a sorcerer. Wolf Men were vulnerable to fire and silver. During the Thurian Age, their sorcerer leader, manipulated the Atlanteans and Picts into going to war against Valusia. It was King Kull who killed their leader and revealed to the others the machinations of the Wolf Men, which led to peace being established among the three factions.
