Yegg-ha, The Master of the Nightgaunts, is a faceless bat-winged giant that was "killed" by Roman soldiers near Hadrian's Wall in Britain, c.128 A.D. Its connection as Leader of the Night-gaunts is given in the Necronomicon, although Yibb-Tstll is mentioned elsewhere as the "Lord of Gaunts." Presumably Yegg-ha is a servant of Nodens and its legend appears in the book The Frontier Garrison. While its physical body might be dead it endures in the Dreamlands.
