Background[]
The Zarbi are an insectoid species on the planet Vortis whom are often controlled by the Animus. They resemble gigantic ants. Some move on human-like legs and others on six legs. Overall, they are simple-minded creatures of little intelligence with no individuality. They communicate via rubbing their legs together, screeching, and dancing. Their social structure is similar to that of Earth's ants and they live in nests consisting of millions. Like ants, their hives consist of giant, bloated queens, powerful warriors, and common workers.
